Our Vision
To ensure Westborough schools’ emphasis is on academic education that repudiates (or debates) the current ideologies infiltrating the educational system in America in such areas as social-emotional learning, sex education, and anti-racism curriculum.
About Us
We are a group of parents and community members who have become concerned about the direction the Westboro Public School system is heading in. Westboro has a long legacy of excellence in education but over the past few years, we believe Westboro has shifted its priorities away from education and taken an approach to education which is driven by extreme political agendas and ideologies. These divisive ideologies are primarily in the area of race relations, gender/sexual identity and sex education. We believe that these sensitive topics are best left to the parents and caregivers rather than our public schools. We understand that these topics cannot and will not be eliminated entirely from the curriculum, but we would like to see them addressed in a more inclusive way that allows students to use and develop their critical thinking skills and not be silenced by an educational system that seeks to teach them what to think rather than how to think. We strongly believe that many of the lessons being taught are too sensitive and inappropriate for school and would be better addressed in the home. We would like this website to provide information and a forum for parents to voice their concerns and hear the concerns of other parents so we can all support one another in this difficult and exceedingly important role we have as parents.
